Help My Dad Recover After a Stroke

Our Dad’s Fight Continues
First, I want to say how deeply grateful we are for every prayer, check-in, donation, and word of encouragement we’ve received. Your love has been a light for us during one of the hardest times our family has ever faced.
What we thought would be a quick one-day visit to the ER has now turned into three long weeks in the hospital, with multiple stays in the ICU. Dad has been through so much already a stroke that has affected his ability to speak, move, and eat.
Two days ago, Dad had another setback. He is now back in the ICU, receiving several blood transfusions, and has had active bleeding in his GI tract. On top of that, we are now battling the effects of a severe brain injury. He is currently on a ventilator in ICU and fighting to come back to us. Every day has been touch and go, and while we have no idea what is in store, what we do know is that the Lord is bigger than all of this and we are still praying and fighting with him.
We appreciate every call, text, prayer, and donation we have received so far. This is a new normal for our family, and though we don’t know what direction this journey will take, one thing is certain: if Dad is fighting, we are fighting with him.
We continue to pray for his healing and strength, and we ask for your continued support in whatever way you can give, whether through prayer, sharing this page, or donating to help with the overwhelming medical and care expenses. Every gesture, big or small, means more to us than words can ever express.
From the bottom of our hearts, on behalf of my family and my mother, we thank you for standing with us.
