Help bring Don home!

Donald Kehler of Steinbach, MB suffered from a severe stroke on January 11, 2024. He was in Mexico at the time of the stroke and was taken by ambulance to Laredo, Texas 6 hours later. From Laredo he was flown to San Antonio where they determined he had a stroke. He is unable to swallow, unable to speak and his right side remains paralyzed. Don does not have insurance and needs therapy to regain function and mobility as soon as possible. He also needs to be medically transported from San Antonio to Winnipeg so that his family and friends can take part in his recovery. We are hoping to raise funds to assist in covering his medical transport and hospital bills. Every cent we raise will go specifically towards Don’s medical bills and transport. It is imperative that we get him to Canada as soon as possible so that he can receive the treatment he needs as soon as possible.
