My cousin, and her baby boys were t-boned by a semi truck. Both boys are in ICU at Cook’s Children’s. Memphis, 5 months, is ventilated, has a liver laceration, small brain bleeds, a fractured skull on his left side, and a neck injury. Colt, almost 2 year old, is he has massive head trauma, a burr hole with worm wire, fractured tibia and fibula, neck injury, and is on life support. Colt’s condition and survival rate is unknown due to the amount of times he coded and how long he went without oxygen. Memphis was on the mend and expected to come out of ICU but began having seizures and abnormal heart rhythms. These boys are going too need extensive after care when they come home.
