Support Brandon Sloan's Recovery Journey After Life-Threatening Car Accident
This message is from Brandon!
Hello everyone! As many of you are aware, I was in a life-threatening car accident on August 28th, 2023. Initially given no chance of survival. My family received information during my coma, suggesting I would face a vegetative state. I defied the odds and, after enduring four challenging months in Loma Linda's heath care system I was finally able to return home. I’m incredibly proud of the miracle I was given to live and deeply appreciative the overwhelming support received during this difficult process.
Although I’m now back home, my recovery is in its early stages. Providing round-the-clock care has prevented myself and my mom from working, and i require extensive therapy to regain my speech and motor skills—insurance covers only two 30-minute sessions per week, falling short of what I truly need. Despite these challenges, I’m remaining very positive and determined to get through this journey. Additionally, i require specific healing needs, including 24 supervision, a special diet, numerous medications, medical supplies that insurance will soon stop covering or limiting services.
Regrettably, the funds raised in the previous GoFundMe have been depleted due to circumstances beyond my control. Facing this setback, I find myself needing to restart the fundraising process. I express immeasurable gratitude for the emotional and financial support received thus far; I’m truly touched by your generosity. While I didn't anticipate needing further assistance financially , additional fundraising is crucial to ensure I receive the extensive care necessary for my recovery.
I am profoundly thankful for any form of support you are willing and able to provide. Regular updates on my progress will be shared, allowing you to witness the impact of your help on my journey. Thank you, everyone, for being a blessing in my life; your support means the world to me and my kids.
