Earlier this year, Shannon Taylor was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She is finishing chemotherapy and preparing for surgery. Even with insurance, she has already paid over $1,000 in medical costs and still owes more than $3,500 in medical bills, with new costs continuing to come in and more on the horizon.

As we write this today, she doesn’t have any more room on her credit card to pay for her next chemotherapy appointment.
