Garden Hills Elementary is in Champaign, Illinois. It is a school that consist primarily of students living at or below poverty. I have created this page to enlist the generosity of others to help BRING JESSE WHITE TUMBLERS TO GARDEN HILLS!!! I would like to help my students finish the year strong and help them see the positive things going on in this world.
Last year we brought the tumblers to school and it was a great experience for the Students at Garden Hills Elementary!!! The Tumblers played basketball, demonstrated basic tumbling skills, performed, and interacted with our students.
We were very fortunate that Secretary White donated half of the money needed himself!!! He did this out of his own pocket but this year we are more than likely going to need to raise the full amount.
This would be a great opportunity for our students to see these great performers in person and bring some excitement to our school as we wind the year down. The internationally known Jesse White Tumbling Team has been thrilling audiences since 1959. Their acrobatic performances can frequently be seen during half-time shows for the National Basketball Association, the National Football League and Major League Baseball games. The team entertains at business and sporting events year-round, including colleges and universities nation-wide.
Many of our students are very acrobatic and love doing gymnastics and acrobatics during Physical Education and Recess!!! This is a great way for our students to get to see the Jesse White Tumblers up close and in person. Many of us have been fortunate enough to be able to afford to attend athletic events which the Tumblers have performed.
No donation is too small or too big!!! Please think about donating and helping brighten our students experience at Garden Hills. I am truly grateful for any friends and family that take the time to donate or pass on our page to help us bring the Tumblers to our school!!!
