On Friday, February 6, 2015, after 2p.m., Challenges for Women, a 501 C3 non-profit in Wichita Falls, TX that helps women, children, and men too, was called by a local hospital and Doctor Vigera’s office on Brooke Ave. An 11-year-old boy is in need of a surgery within a week! He has a tumor in his mouth and it must come out as soon as possible.

Procedure cannot be done any later than February 17th or 18th. As with any surgery, it’s extremely expensive. This surgery will run upwards of $20,000 and a total of $6500 is needed prior to the surgery.

This young boy is a very good student, plays on two soccer teams, is polite and is a good all-around fella that needs help. His aunt is helping with $1,000 and the parents are hard-working folks that don’t have the finances to cover the cost. Dad is a laborer who is currently out of work and mom is a domestic worker.
