Hey everyone,

So around noon on Friday, 8/5/22, I was cruising through Piuma Canyon in Malibu with a friend and while riding, I came around a turn, and hit a patch of dirt on the road. The dirt caused my back wheel to lose traction, spin out, and throw me from the bike. Fortunately, I was wearing proper gear for the fall, but I did sustain a broken collarbone, and some internal bruising.

911 was called, and I was taken by ambulance a mile or so, and then airlifted to UCLA medical. What proceeded was the worst day of my life, both in pain and experience, and left me in the hallway of the trauma wing of the ER at UCLA until late into the evening.

The end result of this experience will be a heavy burden of expenses - both in medical and loss of work. The healing time for my injury (assuming I won't need surgery) is 4-8 weeks, of which, I won't be able to work or do much of anything aside from rest. I'm incredibly self-reliant, and I really don't want to make this a plea for help or anything like that, so I want to leverage this more as an investment opportunity for my friends to help at this time. If you want to donate, I'm grateful, but I also value your time and money, and want to offer things in return when I'm feeling healthy again. So I have donations broken into tiers, with a few different options.
