Overwhelming medical bills

Hi everyone, I am creating this go fund me for my boyfriend Dylan. Everyone who knows Dylan knows what an amazing, strong, brilliant man he is. I am trying to raise money for Dylan’s overwhelming medical bills.

On Friday morning around 2:30am Dylan woke up from his sleep profusely bleeding from his nose eyes and mouth. I rushed him to Sarasota Memorial where he has very poor medical help. They told him the reason for his bleed out was due to “ The mustache hair tickling his nose and he must have rubbed to hard” and then sent home.. Every few hours we were rushing back to the ER because the bleeding wouldn’t stop. We took 4 separate trips to the ER and we’re sent home every time without much help. This was very traumatizing for the both of us. Finally we were able to have him admitted into Manatee Memorial on Saturday where he has been for 4 days now…

On Monday we were told he would need to under go a risky 3 hour surgery in order to them to stop the bleeding. They believed he had a ruptured artery in his nose.. During the surgery Dylan suffered 2 strokes and a brain clot causing him to lose some of his speech and communication.. The surgeon then had to preform another surgery on him in order to remove the clotting as well.. At this point the doctors didn’t know if he would be able to walk, talk, or function normally. This was extremely devastating for everyone.

Today, August 31st we had the most amazing update form the hospital. Dylan did amazing during the night and he was able to walk, move his entire body, eat etc. he still has a very hard time finding the right words and expressing himself fully. But with therapy and time he should recover!

We have had the most amazing support system during this time. I truly believe that the power of prayer has helped heal my baby and will continue to heal him fully. I want to thank every single person who has reach out to me and our family during this difficult time. The amount of love has been so overwhelming. This boy is SO BEYOND LOVED. God is so good.. he is so faithful..

Unfortunately Dylan does not have health insurance so our medical bills are through the roof.. We are trying to work out a financial aid plan but even with that we are going to be struggling. We’re a growing family and need all the support we can possibly get to get through this hard time.
