House fire relief

On December 31, 2021 Kate & Nick Kleinschmidt became victims of the Colorado Marshall wildfires . Kate, Nick, their 2 young kids and cats are thankfully all safe. But their home and possessions are completely destroyed -- they had little more than a few toys and the clothes on their back when they evacuated.

Funds raised will help with incidentals, immediate housing needs, and general financial assistance to begin to stabilize and rebuild their lives.

This fundraiser is organized by Slack/Salesforce coworkers of Kate Kleinschmidt. All funds collected will go directly to her family to help cover costs/expenses to help them resettle and rebuild. Kate & Nick are also working closely with their insurance company and if there are any excess funds, they will be donated to the Community Foundation of Boulder County Wildfire Fund.

Victims of fires face tremendous emotional and financial costs, and we hope this fund will help alleviate some of the challenges that they are facing. Kate and her family are regularly updating friends and family at this website.
