Last month, Nataliia Noshyn, our beloved cousin was diagnosed with stomach cancer. At the best of times, that’s a terrible news to receive. However, she has also learned she must wait for further tests and treatment until after resolving an unrelated health issue. In order to ensure she is in the best of health before beginning her cancer treatment, she will spend March 15-24 at Years Restored Lifestyle Center. At Years Restored, she will have her special dietary and health needs addressed in a low-stress environment, preparing her for the hard road ahead.
And that’s why we need you.
The cost of this program is $3000 per person, and because Nataliia does not speak English and needs extra assistance, she must bring a friend to act as a translator and assist her at this difficult time. Our total of $6000 is to ensure she has all the support she needs.
About Nataliia
Nataliia and her husband, Ivan, just came to the United States last year as refugees, joining their children who already lived in Sacramento, Calif., and Lincoln, Neb. Before retiring, Nataliia and Ivan spent their lives serving others as a pastoral team in Seventh-day Adventist churches in Ukraine.
A life changed by cancer is not a new phenomenon for Nataliia. At the age of five, her mother died of breast cancer, and growing up without her mother, may be one reason why Nataliia has devoted her life so completely to her own children. She is the sort of woman who always cares for others before thinking about herself.
Nataliia will celebrate her 62nd birthday at Years Restored on March 16. We, her family, hope to celebrate many more with her.
Please give generously to support this amazing woman as she prepares for her fight with cancer.
