Hi, my name is Aiyana Shelton; I am currently enrolled at UNC Charlotte as a Dance major. I have been dancing ever since I can remember. I have loved dancing since I was a kid and hope to make it big in the dance industry one day. It has always been my dream to study abroad worldwide and learn as many styles of dance and cultures as possible. I have this fantastic opportunity to study overseas this summer and next spring. This program is an immersion program to help me learn about the language and culture among the South Korean people. It also gives me the chance to experience the dance schools and try to look for a school to intern for in the Spring Semester 2023.  The program costs $6k and will need an additional 2-3k for living expenses. I am very excited to go but need a little help financially as I have support from my family. I do not think it will be enough to get me there with all the expenses. Anything helps if you are able.
