Please Support Tim On His Road to Recovery
Donation protected
On July 7th, our friend Tim Hostetler had a serious accident when his car went over a cliff in an area on State Route 87 that is so dangerous 10 other cars have gone over this section of the road and no one has survived this 200 foot cliff until Tim. Rescue workers call this area the "graveyard." They were surprised when they found him alive.
It took two helicopter flights to rescue and transport him to a trauma hospital where he had screws put in his shattered heal, a rod in his broken leg, he has a broken arm, his back is broken in two places and has multiple broken ribs. He’s been moved from the hospital to a long term care facility for recovery where he's having physical therapy ongoing.
One thing that's amazing about Tim is how positive and optimistic he is being about this whole thing. He is committed to his recovery and motivated to be able to walk again and recover from this horrific accident. He is working to recover faster than the doctors are telling him he'll be able to do.
He has been a pilot for many years and works as an aviation mechanic. He is truly committed to keeping other pilots and those who fly with them safe. He’s lost friends in flying accidents and doesn’t want to ever see that happen to others. He has been an amazing friend to my husband Keith with supporting him in his aviation goals.
Although he has been fortunate to have a good job and some insurance, his bills are going to be overwhelmingly huge and ongoing while he is recovering.
Thank you so much for your support and generosity, you will make such a difference in climbing that big financial mountain and help in the emotional and physical journey he has ahead of him. No donation is too small, it all makes a difference.
Please also share this post with your friends and family. Thank You!!

This is a picture of the cliff and you can even see other vehicles that have gone over on this section of the dirt road he was on. His car has been recovered so it doesn't show here.
