Leigh's Mission Trip to Uganda

Hello everyone!
I am fundraising so that I can go to Uganda this summer with the organization Hands of Love USA! The costs of this trip include things such as airfare, room, and board. Any extra money that I fundraise will go towards purchasing medical supplies for this trip, since those are not included in the cost. This is a medical mission trip, meaning we will be providing primary medical care to children in two orphanages in rural Uganda. These children will receive much needed health care as well as an opportunity to hear more about God's word from all of us volunteers!
I was drawn to participate in this trip partially due to my current enrollment in nursing school, but also because of my late friend, Ryan, who loved to participate in various mission trips through Hands of Love. This experience will be one that I will never forget, providing me with invaluable experience in the nursing/medical field while also allowing me to spread the great news about our Lord, with Ryan in spirit by our sides.
