This is a story about young mother who is about to die, only because lack of funds to pay for a medical treatment in the US.
Whoever knows her understands how difficult it is for her to have to ask for help in such a public way but her will to live and function as a mother conquers all!
To those who don’t know Lilach, she is an amazing woman that has dedicated her life to GIVING and helping her community.
We, her family and friends, created this page in order to help raise the money for an operation she desperately needs.
Lilach is 37 years old and has an 11 year-old son; she suffers from complex neurological and gynecological problems.
Lilach has been through 10 surgeries , the last of which was a year ago and included the removal of several internal organs.
After the last surgery, she suffered from yet another deterioration in her condition and she is currently suffering from endometriosis, leaving her handicapped without the ability to perform basic functions.
The disease has affected internal organs in her body including the intestines, urinary system as well as the nervous system in the pelvis affecting her mobility.
The spreading of the disease to so many organs necessitates the need for an immediate operation, as failing to perform one quickly may lead to permanent paralysis or, G-d forbid, death.
The specialist treating her recommends flying her to Stanford Hospital in the US where she will go through a complex operation, involving several medical teams, led by Dr. Camran Nezhat who is considered the expert in such operations.
The operation alone costs $125,000, with hospitalization costs and utilities, the sum will be up to $250,000.
