Gerri Delatore Fund

Gerri Delatore needs our help!  Her dear husband of  36+ years, Brian, was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer several years ago.  He has defied all medical prognosis and has outlived his expectancy by several years due to the deep love of his wife, his strong and relentless faith in God, and experimental clinical trials.  Unfortunately, these trials, although successful in his fight for life have wreaked havoc on their financial security.

In order to be admitted into the trial they sold their home, cashed in Gerri’s retirement, and drained their bank accounts.  It is a miracle that he is alive, however, the nightmare of the financial burden is overwhelming.  Recently, the bank has repossessed their car and the medical and household bills are drowning them in stress and debt. 

Gerri Delatore has touched not only the lives of our staff, she has left her imprint on the lives of the students she has taught.  Let’s show Gerri that she, like George Bailey from “It’s a Wonderful Life”, can count on those whom she has touched with love!  A Go Fund Me account has been established to accept financial contributions to assist the Delatores.  Although they are humble people they are reaching out for help.  Please share this information with anyone you think may want to aid the Delatores.
