Support Tom Yarbrough’s Recovery Journey
Donation protected
About 3 weeks ago, my brother, Tom Yarbrough, was stricken with Guillain-Barré Syndrome. An incredibly rare but very serious problem of the immune system, GBS causes an autoimmune disorder whereby the body seemingly attacks itself. This has resulted in his losing feeling in his arms and legs, making him virtually paralyzed. He has been in the hospital receiving treatment for the last two weeks.
Next steps are physical therapy and occupational therapy in an inpatient rehabilitation facility. The facilities which are covered by his insurance are requiring a $2500 copayment upfront. As Tom has been unable to work for nearly a month, he does not have this money. I am attempting to help him raise this money for continued physical and occupational therapy to better ensure the probability of his best chance of recovery. Please donate any amount you can! We ask for your prayers for complete recovery!
