Help for a Family
Donation protected
This summer I was introduced to a family of six living in Kabul. (We are not able to share their names due to their safety).
After Kabul fell to the Taliban, the family were forced into hiding for weeks.
They recently escaped to Pakistan, where they are currently waiting for paperwork to get into Canada.

They recently escaped to Pakistan, where they are currently waiting for paperwork to get into Canada.
What money they had is almost gone, and there are many financial hurdles to get their lives started here.
This is where you can help!
We hope you’ll consider a donation to this family, who are very important to us.

This letter is from the Father:
In Afghanistan we were so desperate, we left our house, properties everything behind and came to Pakistan. I had wished to work in my country and raise my children over there but now, we are extremely disappointed and scared. We are afraid of going back to our home country as the Taliban wounded us from the last time they were in power. They murdered my father in in 2001, when my sister was only 8 months old.
We are really grateful to our hero, our mother who sacrificed her youth raising us, working hard so we could continue our education and study well to become valuable individuals and help people in need. She always stands by us in every situation.
Now we are allowed to stay in Pakistan for 60 days, already 9 days passed, so got only 51 days right to stay here, I hope you will help us to get safety in Canada before the 51 days.
We are very vulnerable people from the minority Hazara sect. This ethic minority is seriously threatened by the Taliban and in particular the women and children are in very grave danger in Afghanistan.
My wife and I have worked for Afghanistan National Youth Organization and we are now in huge danger. I'm a fourth year student of computer science, I was working on my thesis when the Taliban took over, and my sister is student of law.
Please save our lives.
