The Green Dream Initiative

The Green Dream Initiative is an aspiring student organization, curated by Ayden Perez and Shalini Malik, aiming towards sustainability in the Fort Bend area. Climate change has had a negative impact on Texas in multiple aspects such as economically, agriculturally, and medically. Along with thousands of Houstonians being displaced by climate change, our gulf coast is in danger as “Carbon dioxide reacts with water to form carbonic acid, so the oceans are becoming more acidic” according to the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Through our aspiring organization, we plan to impact, advocate, and educate the Fort Bend/Sugar Land area to promote an eco-friendly lifestyle. When you donate, the money will help establish our organization in the federal government through 501c3. Remember, with every dollar donated you are helping us to save the world.
