Time to move on.....

Hi! My name is Lori. After almost 19 years of living the Alaskan dream it breaks my heart to say its finally time to move back to the lower 48. After some pretty scary health issues that continue, health care costs that I can't afford, a HUGE cut in income, finding myself without a stable place to live due to the cost of rent I have no choice but to leave Alaska and I am ready to go. I have missed so many years and milestones with my children and especially my Mom who has advanced Dementia, its time to try to gain some time with all of them, my family has offered me a landing spot while I deal with severe depression and rebuild my life in the time I have left to do that... I've done due diligence in trying to find a place I can afford once my lease expires in a month and my options just keep telling me that mentally and physically I can no longer do this. Anything I do to stay or try to stay in Alaska is only a bandaid on a situation that really has no hope of changing. This place is literally killing me to stay here. Right before I stepped down from a Management position to help my mental health last year I had just signed a new Lease and made other financial decisions that I am locked into and can't change. (I have looked into it) I have been living on cash advances off of my credit card to make things work this long. That option is no longer available. This GOFUNDME will give me the chance to get some of my belongings and my car to where I will be landing. I'll be using the Ferry and a small UHaul Truck and a car tow.. Anything left over will be used to cover short term expenses until I can make it up with my job-which I can transfer within my employer.
