My sweet, precious Cookie is in the emergency room and having kidney issues after his neutering surgery went completely wrong.

Last week, I had Cookie neutered by a vet who neglected to take the proper steps before and after surgery — cleaning him up, prescribing pain medicine, giving him a cone, and answering my questions about his well-being. As a result, Cookie’s stitches ended up getting swollen and popping. This happened twice. Over the past week I’ve been to three different veterinarians for Cookie who have all charged me emergency room vet fees and couldn’t figure out what the problem was. As a result of his neutering gone wrong and subsequent infections, Cookie now has issues with his kidneys and needs to be under constant watch for 48 hours before having yet another surgery.
