Support Evelyn’s fight against Thyroid Cancer

Hi, I’m Bea Trinchera, based in the U.S., and I’m raising funds for my colleague Jerlyn Solomon, our dedicated Virtual Assistant in the Philippines. She recently joined our team, and in such a short time, she’s already shown how hardworking, and kind she is — always showing up for us with so much heart. Today, I’m hoping we can show up for her.

Jerlyn’s mom, Evelyn Solomon, is just 38 years old and lives in Cebu, Philippines. Not long ago, she started having trouble breathing and swallowing. What they thought was just a goiter turned out to be something far more serious — thyroid cancer.

Evelyn is now at Perpetual Succour Hospital, and doctors have said she urgently needs a thyroidectomy to remove a growing goiter that’s now causing serious symptoms like difficulty in breathing and swallowing. A biopsy has confirmed the presence of cancer cells, making this surgery stop the cancer from spreading and to prevent further complications. The situation has become critical, and time is not on their side.

The total cost of surgery, hospital care, medications, and post-op recovery is more than their family can manage alone. We’re hoping to raise around $2,000 USD to help cover these urgent medical needs.
