On the night of October 31, my sister Maria was tragically hit by a drunk driver while she was trick-or-treating with her family. She suffered multiple fractures in her face, back, ribs, and a collapsed lung and will be in recovery for months.

This sudden tragedy has turned her life upside down. Maria is one of the kindest, strongest people I know — always ready to help others, but now she’s the one who needs our help.
