My neighbor Freddy’s 4-month-old puppy, Luna, escaped out the front door and was hit by a car. Unfortunately, it was a hit and run, and we did not get the plate number.
Luna’s leg was broken in two places. Because of the type of break and because she is a puppy, she needs to have her leg reset in a cast every week for six weeks. Each time she goes to the vet to have her leg set, she will need to be sedated.
The cost of the treatment is $3,500. Anything helps, and all donations are appreciated. All funds will go toward Luna’s treatment at Benarda Veterinary Hospital. Any funds over the goal will be donated to the Pima Animal Care Center (PACC).
