Kindness is a bridge that connects all people.
Some things are meant to be - We met Whitney after she initially missed her first interview because of what we would soon find involved a trip to the emergency room for her husband. It was clearly evident that she was an incredible, warm, and caring person, the perfect fit for the opening we had. We offered her the job immediately. We had no idea at the time, how strong she or her husband Levi were. We knew at the time that God had placed her here for a reason. Time went by and soon we had the privilege of getting to hear about and meet her husband, Levi. His outward appearance was that of a funny, gentle, kind, and strong gentleman, little did we know just how strong he is.
Levi, at the age of 25, had been diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Despite this diagnosis he never has allowed this to define him or how he has lived his life, full of vigor and enthusiasm. Together, Levi and Whitney have been battling this condition and all of the complications it entails.
Whitney and Levi have been constantly in and out of emergency room visits, doctor's offices, treatments, and therefore the financial burden has grown. With these unforeseeable circumstances, it has been impossible to plan for this.
We ask that you give whatever you feel in your heart to help Whitney with expenses that Levi would never want to burden her with.
Continue praying for Levi, Whitney, and their family and friends who are supporting them through this time.
