Our friend and co-worker, who is always there for us when we are in need, has had an unfortunate start to this new year. In her own words, please read the story below, and let's try and help Rina and her wife get back on their feet. Rina does so much for us at Rady Children's Hospital, please see it in your heart to give a little something! Every little bit helps!

So today was suppose to be a great day since we were FINALLY closing on our townhome. Went to the bank for the final paperwork and my 2020 Grey Kia Sportage was stolen in 30 minutes. All my most valuable things from family heirlooms like my grandfathers Purple Heart and my family photos from the 1900’s all gone. All my work clothes and my clothes, shoes, and memorabilia stolen. Thanks Tic Toc Challenges of stealing Kia’s. I can’t stop crying. If anyone sees a grey 2020 Kia Sportage with black rims license plate 8MRV780 please contact the San Diego police department. I don’t care about Nikes or all of my Burberry stuff. I just want my family stuff. Take what you want to make money off of but please

leave the rest. Thanks for starting my New Year crappy. Per Rina, there was also a substantial amount of money in the car to buy home appliances.

Also, shortly before this incident happened, Rina's father passed away after a long illness. So. she has had a lot of added stress in her life and is continuing to work 12 hour days 5-6 days a week with a smile on her face! Let's see if we can rally together and do something special for them!
