Navy Veteran in Need

I am Fundraising for a Veteran Family in need. As many of you know, there are a lot of good programs out there to assist veterans. But sometimes there is a need, and no programs to help them. So, I am starting this Go-Fund-Me for one such instance. Miguel and Bobbi Deleon need our help. Miguel served with me in the Navy and was discharged honorably.

To no fault of his own, his family is facing a critical financial need.

The Deleons purchased a house a few years ago. Before they bought the house, the previous owner installed a new roof. When the Deleons purchased the home, an inspection was made, and nothing was found faulty. Unfortunately, whoever installed the new roof did an inferior job and somehow got the VA inspectors to oversee this abysmal job. A few years have passed, and now the Deleon's roof is leaking and starting to cave in. There is also severe water damage, which needs to be corrected soon. There is a chance that they could prove responsibility for this shotty work back to the previous owner or even the contractor that did the job, but as we all know, that takes a lot of time and money, too. The severity of this issue needs an immediate resolution. This Veteran's family needs to replace the roof so his family can live in peace, which will cost over $18,000. This does not include the other damage to the house because of the faulty roof. So, I am asking that we raise $20,000 for his cause. I am going to put in $500. Suppose this campaign reaches $10,000. I will put in another $500; if the goal earns 19,000, I will donate the final $1000 to get us to the goal.

Every dollar counts; what counts even more is getting this out to all your family and friends. The more people see this, the more people can donate and get us to our goal. So, I ask that you share this with all your social media groups and ask your friends to do the same. Together, we can all help this Veteran, who, at one time in his life, agreed to give his life, if necessary, to protect our freedoms.

UPDATE: The Deleons have recently taken in their disabled aunt, who had nowhere else to go, and Bobbi has had to have shoulder surgery, keeping her from working.
