Landon’s Open Heart Surgery

So, my son Landon Steve Steele is a miracle baby. According to doctors he would not make it to term and if he did he would require open heart surgery immediately. He has defied the odds and is doing amazing. He looks like a healthy baby but reality is he is going to require openheart surgery on October 23, 2020.

While going to Memphis to have Landon, my wife tore the cartilage up in her knee requiring missed work and surgery.  She has not yet been able to to work due to the knee surgery, she has fallen twice which lead to a torn rotator cuff in her shoulder, and she has arthritis in her spine. She has been doing her best to take care of Landon while I continue to work to pay our bills. But she is also having issues with anxiety and depression due to the lost of her father, and Landon’s situation! 

Landon I will be missing a few days of work to be with my son while he is on the hospital having open heart surgery. 

We have always been able to make ends meet and have not wanted to ask for help but we have been struggling since he was born and we both had to be off work for that. We have not really been able to catch up all the way on bills so me being off this week has me a little scared that we will get behind and not be able to maintain. We are going to be staying in the fedex house in Memphis but we will be having to get, food, and gas, and any other expenses while there.
