Help Mark Recover and Stay Afloat After My Injury

Hi everyone I am writing this on behalf of my brother-

I never imagined I’d be writing something like this for him, but life has taken an unexpected turn. Recently, Mark was in the hospital for back surgery and while there, suffered a serious injury that caused him to have additional surgeries over the past 10 months. He has now had another major back surgery in September that will take 3 to 6 months to begin to recover from and is now facing a long road to recovery—physically, emotionally, and financially. While our family is incredibly grateful for the care he is receiving and the progress he is making, the financial burden has become overwhelming.

Due to Mark's injury, he has not been unable to work and the bills are piling up—medical expenses, rent, utilities, and basic living costs. Mark is doing everything he can to stay afloat, but he's reached a point where he needs help to cover the following:

• Hospital and medical bills

• Rent and utilities while I recover

• Transportation to follow-up appointments

• Basic necessities like groceries and medication

I know times are tough for many, and asking for help is never easy. I believe in the kindness of others, and I’m holding onto hope that with your support, we can help Mark rebuild my life.

September 3, 2025 Surgery was done and 18 vertebrae were fused together and steri-strips holding Mark together. Mark is struggling but making some progress. It's been 14 days so far in the hospital but hope to get out soon. Have had a few setbacks but keeping faith that things will get better each day for Mark. God Bless Mark's family.
