I am reaching out due to needing support while going through my current medical condition. I have an autoimmune disorder and after losing my mom, I started getting lesions on my face and scalp, followed by total hair loss. I have good days, but most days I struggle. Losing your hair is an adjustment in itself, but the face lesions are extremely painful and just make me want to hide away so no one else sees them.

I just got fired from my job due to calling in too many times because I wasn't feeling well. I tried to get medical leave; however, I was denied twice because they said the doctor did not put an end date since this is still ongoing. I have applied for unemployment and SNAP, etc., but both have a waiting period, and I'm not 100% sure the unemployment will be approved. We are currently staying at a hotel however to get the cheapest rate need to pay for it weekly and are currently falling short the amount due.

I have worked since I was 16, so this is extremely hard for me not being able to perform the way I feel I should be able to. So, I am swallowing my pride and asking for help. Any amount will help, and if you can't, prayers are welcome and would be a blessing in itself. I am currently seeing a physician and have a referral to see another dermatologist in hopes of figuring out what the next steps will be. Just needing a little help to get us through.
