If you live in Carlsbad, NM, you are probably one of those fortunate people that has been blessed with the opportunity to see the beautiful, smiling face of my nephew, Alec Vasquez!  He has been in and out of hospitals his entire life and his family has been able to absorb the costs of his medical care.  As most of you know, Alec was admitted to the emergency room this past week with severe seizures and fluid in his lungs and due to Covid, the closest hospital he was able to be transported to was in Austin, TX.  Alec's parents, Hilda and Tommy, are there in Austin with him.  We have no idea when Alec will be able to come home.  Hilda and Tommy work hard to provide great care for Alec and I would ask that you assist in relieving some of the financial burden this emergency trip has caused so that they may both focus on the care of their son.
