Help Penny Get the Second Chance She Deserves

Penny came into my life as a foster dog during the wildfire evacuations, when countless animals were in desperate need of temporary homes. Sadly, after the chaos settled, Penny was never taken back by the rescue that placed her. She had already been neglected, and when they walked away, she was left in poor condition—physically and emotionally.

Now, Penny’s medical needs have become urgent. She has a ruptured nipple, several lesions at risk of rupture, and a large mammary mass, along with two loose teeth that need to be removed. The veterinarian says surgery cannot wait. The estimated cost is around $2,200, which is overwhelming for me as a senior on limited income while managing my own health challenges.

Penny’s condition is treatable—she deserves the chance to heal and live out her years in comfort and love. She has already been failed once, and I cannot bear for her to be failed again.
