Jerry, the owner of the Johnson Ave Dairy Queen, has very recently been diagnosed with leukemia, and is currently undergoing chemotherapy at the University of Iowa hospital. With how much his family and store have done for the community, we, the staff at DQ, thought the community might want to give back to the family in this uncertain and stressful time. No one is sure how well this treatment will work, or what is going to have to happen next. We are hoping for a speedy recovery, but in the meantime the medical bills are piling up! We as a staff, and the Cada family especially, appreciates anything you are willing to donate to help us get Jerry back on his feet!
