New Home and Land Clean Up
Donation protected

During the recent wave of tornado's in SC on April 13th, 2020, many homes and family's were devastated by death and destruction. This is what happened to Joe Lott. Joe has been a dedicated volunteer firefighter for most of his adult life and works for Barnwell County. He is the kind of person that always helps others without question, no matter the time or what it might cost him in return.
He was not suppose to work that Monday, but was called in to help with damage in various places after the tornado's hit. His home, along with many other homes had lost electricity. While he was working on the tornado clean up, the electricity to his home was cut back on causing a shortage in wires somewhere in his living room. It didnt take long for his home to be engulfed in flames.
He rushed to his home once he got the call that it was on fire. He knew when he arrived, due to the many years of fighting fire, that there was no saving the home, but urged the fire fighters to try and save his helpless animals stuck in the home. He was devastated to learn that not only had he lost his home, but his 6 little family members as well. He lost 3 cats, Crazy, Buttons, and Biggin, as well as 3 dogs, Cesar, Riley, and his grandchild's dog Bella.
Joe has always been such a wonderful person and dedicated friend. Due to this, we are trying to give back to him like he has given to so many others. This GoFundMe account is to try and get Joe back into a home. He will need a down payment on a trailer as well as money for clean-up of his old home and yard. I know that we can band together and make his pain and struggle much easier to deal with. Please donate to this fund.
