Hello all. I'm coming to you in a great hour of need. Due to unfortunate circumstances beyond my control , I was laid off from my job. This is very hard blow to me financially. In August of last year, I was in a coma for a month due to covid complications. Because of this, I am now a dialysis patient and receiving treatment three times a week for the foreseeable future until my kidneys become stronger or I receive a kidney transplant. Also, due to Cogestive Heart Failure, I am physically limited to certain jobs because of the stress it would add to my heart, which could lead to a fatal heart attack. Because of this, certain jobs are unable to accommodate me , which makes the job search more difficult. Currently while searching for employment, I'm in the process of working with my doctors to be declared disabled to qualify for disability benefits. At this point, I have no financial support and certain programs I don't qualify for such as housing and other things. I want to work and provide for me and my daughter. In this season of health and life, I need a hand to get to a place of self reliance. I thank you for hearing my story.
