Supporting the Caldwell Family

Messages like this are never easy.

Heather Caldwell, our Adeline Montessori music teacher, is the mother of Miss Emma (Primary 1 teacher) and a student in Upper Elementary (UE). Tragically, on the morning of Wednesday, May 11th Heather’s daughter (and sister to Miss Emma and the UE student) passed away in a terrible accident. The family is devastated as is the entire AMS community for their loss. We have opened a GoFundMe to help in supporting the Caldwell family during this difficult time. Prayers, positive thoughts, and wishes of peace are just as important as any financial donation so please keep the entire Caldwell family in your hearts and thoughts.

The Montessori way tells us that everything and everyone has a lifecycle but when that life is cut far too short, there is no right way to navigate processing the loss. Our hope is that we can support the Caldwell family in this essential time of need and in the months to come. We thank you in advance for your thoughts and prayers for this special family, our community wouldn’t be the same without them.
