My daughter developed myocarditis and severe respiratory failure. Alicja spent several months in the intensive care unit. Her little heart was seriously damaged, and her left ventricle stopped functioning! My daughter had a special pump connected to her that had to support her heart! I was terrified! I was afraid I would lose her! During the operation and the attempt to save her heart, she had a stroke, which left Alicja with a motor and developmental disability. It seemed that the worst moment was behind us, but unfortunately, the next stage of this demanding journey had begun... My daughter has had a heart transplant, but she is still struggling with the consequences of all the complications.

Ala is currently 6years old, but in terms of development, she is at the stage of a 13 month-old child. What's more, after a stroke, our daughter lost her sight. We are fighting for Ala to be able to take her first steps. Our daughter is fed through a tube, but it is very inconvenient, so we also want to teach her to eat on her own.

We need to put our daughter through further treatment and rehabilitation as soon as possible, thanks to which she will be able to fight for her health and the greatest possible fitness. We kindly ask you for support, which will give her a chance for a peaceful future!
