Cancer sucks

Hello,

I’m asking for support for a friend and coworker. We all get sick and have times of misfortune. Sometimes it can come as a surprise.

An uncomfortable pain and swelling turned into “should I tough it out or go to the hospital”. Thankfully Cody made the decision to go to the hospital and after spending the night there, was told to go for an ultrasound that day. They found an abnormal growth and booked him for surgery in the evening. Now Cody is sitting at home in pain unable to enjoy the activities he likes to do and unable to work for at least 6 weeks while recovering from surgery. All the while awaiting the news if the cancer spread.

Even if you don’t feel like donating, please heed this as a warning for your own health when you are debating whether to tough it out.
