We are a group of UBCO Nursing Students fundraising to support health care initiatives in Ghana and Zambia, Africa. Every year, a group of students travel to either Ghana or Zambia to collaborate with our partner hospitals and clinics. The funds we raise are tailored towards the requirements of each given location, as reported by supporting local partners and healthcare personnel. This initiative has been running recurrently for over 20 years, assisting in providing necessary and emergent medicines, supplies, and equipment to communities when they need it most.

As nursing students, we are deeply passionate about global health equity and the opportunity to learn from and work alongside our partners in Ghana and Zambia. Each of us is motivated by a commitment to compassionate care and the belief that access to essential healthcare resources should not be limited by geography.
