The Family Story:
Paul is the Father of 8 children from the ages of 4 to 23 living in Corrales, NM. He has a beautiful loving wife Michelle, 5 girls and 3 boys. Paul loves God, His Family and the community and has been good to the people of his church and a good leader in the community he serves.
In 2013 Paul suffered six strokes that spanned over two years and by the grace of God is still living. He is unable to work now and the support of the family had fallen to his Father in law, Leroy. Leroy(77) came out of retirement to earn income performing handyman work for families locally and this worked for a while. Last summer while Leroy was working a tractor loader hydraulics on a bucket failed and nearly crushed his shoulder under the weight. He had to lift the loader bucket to get out from under it to free himself and is now dealing with chronic systemic pain. He continues to support the family in any way he can but is still recovering from his injury.
This December with the help from some friends , Michelle and her eldest Son Christopher(23) attempted to sell 650 Christmas trees receiving a small percentage of the profit to help support her family.
Michelle and her Son Christopher stayed at the Chrismas tree lot 24*7 until Dec 13th and sold all but 40 trees.
On Tuesday Dec 15th her Son Christopher died suddenly just before Christmas. He is pictured 2nd from the right above.
