Honoring the Life of Geronimo Ibarra
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Cristian Jacob Preciado, and recently, my father, Geronimo Ibarra, passed away on February 8th, 2025.
Struggling from a brain injury caused by an unfortunate accident, my dad was in the hospital paralyzed from the waist down in a coma. With luck on our side, he was able to wake up, despite being paralyzed. Thinking this was his second chance. we had hope.
Alas, one unfaithful night, he gasped his final breath, and left without a warning. This has been a tremendous thing to process for everyone. It was so unexpected as we thought things were going to get better from here on out. It is so unfair for the world to take him away like this, without even giving us a chance to hear his final words, to say hello, goodbye, one last time..
We are now facing the immense challenge of giving him the farewell he deserves. Funeral costs are overwhelming and exploitative, so covering them has proven to be incredibly difficult. Every contribution, no matter how small, will go directly to the Ibarra family to help lay my father to rest with the dignity and respect he earned in this life.
Geronimo Ibarra was more than just a father—he was a friend, a son, and a brother. He touched the lives of many, and he deserves to be remembered properly. If you can spare even a dollar, it would be much appreciated.
