Help this puppy get better

Hi,

I am trying to raise funds to get this puppy treated.

I was on my way to work on Monday (10/11/2021), at about 6:45am, when I saw a black puppy just laying in the middle of the lane on the freeway and could tell that he was alive but, couldn't move. I took the next exit and circled back, picked him up. He was scared, I could tell he was in a lot of pain and it seemed like he couldn't use his back legs. I dropped him off at the VCA which is just down the road from where I found him and who also happens to be my dog's vet.

Because I was on my way to work, I couldn't stay with him. They checked for a chip, he doesn't have one, he does however, have an impacted pelvis, his right back leg is broken and will need to be seen by a surgeon for both of those issues to be fixed.

Vet still doesn't know if anything else will come up, he has not peed or pooped, but I am hoping that he will, its been a few hours.

I wish I could afford to pay for this myself, but I have my own dog who needs to have a mass removed. He had 3 mast cell tumors removed in March and I am afraid this new mass could be the same thing. I used the little credit I had paid into our account and then some to get him pain meds, checked out and x-rays.

I haven't taken him to a surgeon yet, I can't afford that and my vet estimates to fix his broken let it could be up to $3000.00 plus maybe a couple of thousand more for the pelvis.

As of now, this is the info I have from the vet. She did say, there could be other issues to arise, but I am hoping there won't be.

Those of you that know me, know that I truly HATE asking for help. But, this is not for me, its for a defenseless puppy who has no one and who I just could not leave in the middle of the freeway.

I did not get to take pictures of him this morning when I picked him up, but my vet took these pictures and sent them to me. He is about 6 months old, lab mix and super, super sweet.
