Hello My name is Marcelo Ambriz, my wife and I are asking for financial help from everyone out there to surprise her cousin Greg Godinez, with an electrical wheel chair. (Please do not share this with him nor talk about it to him. He has no idea )
Mr Godinez was born with muscular dystrophy. Muscular dystrophy is a genetic disease that causes progressive weakness and loss of muscle mass.
At this stage in the disease, Greg is 39 and is now confined to a wheel chair. He’s beat the odds. In November he was given 6 months to live, fighting many struggles to keep breathing on an 8% working heart he’s managed to bring his percentage up to 28% because of his will to live, his 2 beautiful young daughters and young boy, his family support, and most of all his FAITH.
Having said battle to fight everyday he still remains positive and robust. Loves to sing at any karaoke on the spot followed by his kids. Although a little untuned he’s braver than me. Lol. I’m just kidding. He’s well In tuned. Has a bigger heart than most of us who have never faced adversity. And is very grateful for his family and friends support. Unfortunately the wheel chair he has is “borrowed” from the facility he currently resides in. Having minor strength in his arms and nothing waist down said facility now denied him assistance in his transportation to his favorite church which he loves to attend frequently. Basically without another human to assist him he can’t do or continue his rituals.
I’m sharing his in hopes we can get together enough donations to help buy his electric wheel chair that will help him get around independently and boost back his moral in order to keep his spirits lifted. The chair is simple, better turning capabilities around $2000 delivered. We wish to surprise him soon!!
