My name is Karl Gayle. I live in Brooklyn, N.Y. I'm reaching out to raise funds to help my family and the people of Cave in Westmoreland, Jamaica.

85% of the homes in Westmoreland have roof damage. Many people are now homeless. There is no water, no electricity. Roads have been wiped out, making it difficult to reach people in the deep rural areas.

Your donation will go to help purchase canned goods, rice, water filters, first aid supplies, batteries, generators, feminine pads, and other essentials. We will be shipping the supplies to Kingston and trucking the goods into the countryside. I will be sending out supplies for as long as needed, especially in the countryside and in the hills of Jamaica. Roads are cut off, so as soon as there is an open path, supplies will be sent.
