Eleanor Roosevelt HS Trip to 2020 Women's March

Donation protected
GLOW (Girls Lead our World) is a women's empowerment group founded by three students, Mackenzie Cole, Henriette Keita, and Zoe Suslensky, who are now juniors at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in New York City. Our mission is to empower youth, educate our community on pressing issues regarding women’s rights, and advocate for intersectionality and representation. GLOW, in coordination with the NYC Department of Education and Eleanor Roosevelt High School, is organizing a trip available to all students to travel to Washington, D.C. to participate in the National Women's March on Saturday, January 18th, 2020. The funds we raise will be used to defray our travel expenses. We at GLOW feel that the objectives of the women's march align with our purpose of lifting the voices of all females across the globe, and we hope to provide the opportunity to join the march to all ElRo students free of charge. We anticipate approximately $30 could send one student to Washington to join in this very important, inspirational, historic day. Donations of all amounts are greatly appreciated! If you would prefer to make a tax deductible donation to the Eleanor Roosevelt High School PTA earmarked for this trip, please contact us for instructions on how to do so. For more information on GLOW, feel free to visit our Instagram account (@glow_elro ), which is linked to this page. Thank you in advance for your support.
