Hello, my name is Elizabeth Mehringer and I am a close friend and co-worker to Melody Faulk. We are coming together to support Melody, a local REALTOR® as she bravely faces another battle with cancer.
Melody is married to her husband, Joe, and together they have four children and one grandchild. They currently reside in Petersburg, Indiana, where she is a valued member of the community.
Melody was diagnosed with Stage 4 nasopharyngeal cancer in 2023. She underwent chemo and radiation for several months and was on the road to recovery. Unfortunately, she recently started having some issues again, and they found another mass close to her brain. Although it's small, due to the location, it's still inoperable. She has now been referred to Cincinnati, Ohio, where she will receive Proton Radiation Therapy. This specialized treatment requires her to remain in Cincinnati for the entire duration of her treatments, creating significant medical, travel, and living expenses.
How Your Donation Helps
All donations will go directly toward easing the financial burden of Melody’s care, including:
-Medical expenses not covered by insurance
-Travel to and from Cincinnati
-Lodging during the course of treatment
-Meals and daily living expenses while away from home
Why Your Support Matters
As a dedicated professional and member of our local community, Melody has spent her career helping others. Now, she needs our support. Your generosity allows Melody and her family to focus on what matters most — healing, strength, and hope — without the added stress of mounting expenses.
Ways to Give
-Monetary donations can be made through this page or you may take a donation in to any Hoosier Hills Federal Credit Union where an account has been set up for her. You will need to give them her name and birthdate (11/20/80)
-Sharing this fundraiser with others
-Keeping Melody and her family in your thoughts and prayers
Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support during this challenging time.
