My name is Jessica and Bailey is my soul dog. I’ve had her since she was just 8 weeks old. A couple of months ago she stopped eating and was losing weight rapidly - we took her to the vet and they ran every test they could but nothing was found, so we took her to internal medicine. They still don’t know what’s wrong but they want to do a biopsy of her gut lining to look for cancer or irritable bowel disease. The procedure will cost anywhere between $4,000 and $4,700. I’ve never asked for money in this capacity but we are struggling to make ends meet with the amount of money we’ve had to spend on Bailey (I would spend $1,000,000 if I could).
