Hi, I am Liya Jose and am raising funds for my friend Bhagya Upuli Navarathna, who has stomach cancer. Bhagya is a health care assistant staff working in the Royal United Hospital in Bath. She arrived in the United Kingdom from Sri Lanka last July 2023 with her husband and two small children.

Bhagya, a loving mother, wife, and a friend has been diagnosed with diffused cells carcinoma on the stomach on July 2024. Currently , she is fighting for her life but the cancer is very aggressive and highly metastatic. Now she is on sick leave for the treatment. Her loving husband Sampath and two children are struggling to manage this situation. This unexpected and devastating news has brought significant emotional and financial challenges to their life. Moreover, it's been a hard phase for her husband Sampath to single handedly manage the little children and take care of his wife during this situation especially with the high living cost.
