Compassion for a Family in Mourning

Dear friends and community members,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and tragic passing of a bright and beloved 12-year-old whose life ended far too soon. He was riding his scooter Saturday morning when a distracted driver, who ran a red light, hit him resulting in taking his life. He brought joy, laughter, and love to everyone who knew him, and his absence leaves a void that can never be filled.

I am a friend of the child's mother and trying to help take some of the burden off the family during this time.

As the family grieves this unimaginable loss, they are also facing the unexpected financial burdens of unexpected funeral costs and accumulated bills for medical costs. We are asking for your support to help cover the costs of the unexpected expenses and provide the family with some peace of mind during this painful time.
