Sandy is 66years old and has spent her life rescuing and caring for dogs that others have forgotten. Now, she needs help.

For the past decade Sandy has dedicated her life to caring for animals.

She is a partner at Schnauzer Ranch Rescue, a prominent no-kill shelter through which she has personally rescued, fostered, and trained hundreds of dogs in Texas.

Eight months ago Sandy broke her foot but hasn't been able to get the surgery she needs. Why? Because she is on a fixed income has no one to care for her rescue dogs during recovery - and she simply can't afford to stop caring for them.

Living with an untreated fracture caused her daily pain, limited mobility, and risk of long-term complications. Surgery would give her relief, restore her independence, and let her keep doing the work she loves: saving and caring for dogs that others overlooks.
